- Purpose and Use: The .locker domain is aimed primarily at businesses offering secure digital file storage, personal storage solutions, and Web3-based digital identities. It provides a bridge between traditional Web2 domains and Web3 identities through blockchain.
- Restrictions: Unlike some gTLDs, .locker has no strict registration restrictions, meaning anyone—individuals or businesses—can register a domain. There is no need for a trademark or special documentation, although certain domain names, such as two-character names and those reserved for ICANN regulations, may not be available.

Registration period: 1 to 10 years.
Syntax: Domain names can be between 1 to 63 characters, using letters, numbers, and hyphens (though not at the beginning or end, nor in the third and fourth positions).

Second-level extensions: No.
Special Features: Owners of a .locker domain can mint a Web3 digital identity (like an NFT) that links to their domain. This identity can be integrated with Web3 applications, such as digital wallets and marketplaces.
Availability: .locker domains are in the General Availability phase since October 23, 2024, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Procedures
Renewal: Domains are deactivated upon expiration. It is possible to renew up to 45 days following the expiration date.
Disputes: URS , UDRP, Registration Eligibility Dispute Resolution.
Transfer (change of Registrar): The process is started on the new registrar's interface with an auth code. Ensure that your domain does not have a TransferProhibited status, does not expire soon, is older than 60 days and has not been transferred in the last 60 days. The effective transfer renews the domain name for one year.
Change of Ownership: Available on our interface. The current procedure consists in email confirmation by both the former and new domain name owner. Expiration date remains unchanged.
