Registration during the Priority Access Period:
The Godfathering period is restricted to current registrants of a second-level domain name (in ASCII or IDN script) in the .net top-level domain provided You have registered the domain name prior to the start date of the Godfathering period and that you have hold the second level domain name for longer than the Add Grace Period. Each applicant shall have the exclusive right during the Godfathering period to register the exact match of the existing .net second level domain name in any one or more of the Registry TLD's provided :(I) such matching second level domain name is available for registration in such Registry TLD's during the Godfathering period(II) such matching second level domain name is registered through a Registrar that is the same Registrar-of-record for the existing .net second level domain name as of the time of the registration of the Matching Second Level Domain NameIn the event a transfer of an existing .net Second Level Domain Name to antoher Registrar (the gaining Registrar) is initiated (e.g for the purpose of a qualifying priority access program aapplicant registering the matching seconf level domain name through the gaining Registrar, Verigisn requires up to forty-eight (48) hours from the time the gaining Registrar becomes the registrar-of-records for the existing .net second level domain name for the transfer to be reflected in Verisign's systems as necessary for the qualifying priority access program applicant to be able to register the matching seconf level domain name. Renewal: domains are deactivated upon expiration. It is possible to renew up to 45 days following the expiration date

Transfer (change of Registrar): the process is started on the new registrar's interface with an auth code. Ensure that your domain does not have a TransferProhibited status, is older than 60 days and has not been transferred in the last 60 days. The effective transfer depends on your validation (by email) and renews the domain name for one year
Change of Ownership: available on our interface, the current procedure consists in email confirmation by both former and new domain name owner. The expiration date is unchanged
Deletion process: quarantine of 30 days, see this table
