.ORG.MT: 域名擁有人必須有非營利機構（例如：慈善組織、基金會）
.NET.MT: 域名擁有人必須提供網路相關的服務（例如：ISP）
.MT 二級域名將於 2017 年 12 月 1 號起至 2020 年 11 月 31 日止開放具有優先註冊資格的人註冊：現有 .MT 三級域明得註冊人（.com.mt / .org.mt / .net.mt ）只要沒有衝突的情況下就可以註冊相同名稱的二級域名。若發生衝突時，則沒有任何人可以註冊這個二級域名。只要衝突持續，即使超過了優先註冊其，仍然沒有人可以註冊。
